WORLD was presented at Global Fusion Barcelona, a one-day gathering at Load Gallery marking the launch of The AI Art Magazine's Issue No. 3, SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE — synthetic horizon. The issue examines how space is produced and perceived in the age of AI — not as a fixed container, but as something that emerges from perception, modelling, and the interaction between bodies and technical systems. For the event, the issue was extended off the page and into the gallery itself, with each participating artist taking over the full space in turn, their work running as a single continuous presence.
WORLD explores the fragile balance between individual agency and the systemic powers that shape our political and socio-economic landscapes. These computational processes demonstrate how minor shifts within a complex system can lead to radically different outcomes — echoing the way a single decision can ripple through society with unpredictable, lasting consequences.
The images trace the hidden architecture of influence as it moves through interconnected networks. Dramatic lighting allows forms to emerge from and dissolve into darkness, suggesting that we perceive only fragments of the larger forces shaping our world. A restrained monochromatic palette strips away surface distractions, revealing the underlying frameworks that operate beneath the visible.
My process is a conversation with the unknown — a tension between intention and chance, control and chaos. This instability reflects the volatility of our present moment, where seemingly stable structures can shift suddenly and irreversibly. If financial systems were fully visualized, we might encounter these same strange vantage points — invisible forces that exert significant influence over how our reality takes shape.
