I was part of EXPO Sunderland, contributing two works to its semi-transparent LED screen—a living canvas that blends the physical and digital environment and showcases artists and studios from Sunderland alongside international work.The two works approach the screen from opposite directions. Calibration Patterns Parade turns a hidden technical process into art: drawing on two months of projection calibration at MAD Arts museum, including a collaboration with PlayModes studio. I logged the patterns' display hours and how often I generated new ones, then used that data to drive the visuals, giving projection's overlooked "silent architects" their moment. Winter is the Void moves into pure atmosphere: a slow passage through a gentle snowstorm where edges blur and the world softens into a hushed, grainy expanse, evoking the isolation of long Swedish winters.Curated by Debra Stewardson
